Greenwich Insulation

During a year of winterizing a small summer cottage, I have dealt with all the trades...and Greenwich Insulation was one of the very few that gave me a prompt quote, kept in touch until the project was ready for the insulation phase, and then HONORED the original quote, and came to do the work when they promised...ON TIME! The crew worked hard and non-stop doing the difficult retro insulation, happily, professionally, and fast!! The crew was super coordinated, and worked so well together...with smiles! I am stunned that they completed the job in one day, and then that they even cleaned up after they finished the job!! Every other trade made a big mess, and walked away when finished, no clean up or thought of doing it. I would gladly hire this company for anything again, and am a very, very happy customer! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- UPDATE!!! - That review was written in Dec. 2021, and I GLADLY posted it with FIVE STARS. In January 2024 I had wind damage my roof, causing the necessity of removing and replacing the insulation batting, and ultimately learning it had to be treated for mold. In August 2024 work was started...and quickly stopped when mold was discovered. Two bays of insulation batting had already been removed, so that area was left bare to the roof. This company failed to get back to me to continue, despite my communications, until December 2024, when it was too cold to vacate and allow the work. I contacted them when the weather was warm enough this summer, insurance funds in hand in the amount of their accepted quote, and waited...and now, 8 months after they last communicated, without any communication from 2 emails in July and August 2025...I was JUST told that their crews had quit, they had no one to do the job...'sorry'. No notice or phone communication in all that time, despite their accepted quote and written promise to do the work. And now they are gone!! Needless to say, that experience I had in 2021, with a gentleman that has since retired, has done a 180, and I could not ever in a million years recommend this company! I review with praise readily, and often...and also am honest and review with unfortunate terrible experiences. Now, you know my experience, and you can choose for yourself with knowledge.
