Rhode Island Insulation describes itself on its BBB page as an insulation company specializing in blown-in cellulose insulation for older homes, and its website says it has been in business 25 years. A recent Google customer said blown-in insulation was installed in the walls of an old house under a RISE contract and called it a good job. About 18 months later, when new gutters put in by someone else overflowed into that wall, the same customer said voicemail and website messages about replacing the ruined insulation never got a response. A recent Google reviewer who lives across the street from one of its jobs said the workers blocked neighboring driveways with their trucks, did the job before the city approved the permit and caused over $1000 in damages to the reviewer's property. A 2026 customer said Miguel and his team completed an insulation installation in the home and cleaned up afterwards. In a 2024 review, a customer named Ray as the supervisor and said the work was on time and neat, with the clean-up afterwards praised.
My first experience was having blown-in insulation installed (under RISE contract) in the walls of my old house. The crew was very professional in efficiently resulting in a good job. My second experience was about 18 months later when our new gutters (not RI Insulation work) overflowed back into the house wall. I contacted RI Insulation via voice mail and their website about replacing the ruined insulation, but I never received a response from the company.
Your neighbors could end up hating you for hiring this company. We live across the street from where their rude employees worked. They inconvenienced everyone around them by blocking neighboring driveways with their trucks. Not only did they do the job before the permit was approved by the city, but they caused over $1000 in damages to MY property.
Awesome company! They completed an insulation installation in my home. They were very professional polite and even cleaned up afterwards! Thank you so much we appreciate all your hard work. Miguel and his team were great!
Great people on hte crew that worked on our house. Ray, the supervisor is a real asset to the company. Work was on time, extremely neat, and delivered with the utmost politeness and professionalism. Clean up afterwards was perfect!
