Thirty-one permits, one review, and that review is twelve years old. Gregory Nolan works out of 264 Lenox St in Methuen, and his permit history is mostly the residential plumbing and gas work you would expect — with a couple of outliers that are not residential at all: Dunkin' restaurant remodels in Chicopee and Great Barrington. The written record from customers is thin and dated rather than missing. In April 2014 a reviewer left a five-star line that said only "The guy simply rocks!" — enthusiastic, but it describes no job, no price, and no outcome, and more than a decade has passed since. Nothing has been written about him publicly since then. BuildZoom's score of 103 puts him in what it calls the top 10% of Massachusetts licensed contractors, but that number is calculated from permits, not from customers, and it should not be read as a rating. The licence block wants care. BuildZoom lists a construction supervisor licence, CS-081897, which it labels verified and active as of its own May 2026 check; separately it shows number 22982 with an expiration it puts at May 2016, and a home improvement contractor registration, #154517, as inactive and at one point cancelled. Five records sit across five type labels, one number filed twice. None of it has been confirmed against the state registry here, so it is the directory's account rather than a credential. For plumbing and gas work in the Methuen area, the permit trail says he has done a lot of it. Before hiring, ask which of those licence numbers is current and check it with the state yourself, and ask for two or three references from recent jobs — the public record has nothing newer than 2014 from anyone who hired him.
