Forty-seven Google ratings averaging 4.8 is the number to start with, and the work behind it is the unglamorous seasonal stuff: spring and fall cleanups, aeration and overseeding, mulch and planting, drainage and hardscape. Ground Care Landscaping works out of North Andover and covers eastern Massachusetts and southern New Hampshire — its site names North Andover, Andover, Haverhill and Newburyport plus Newton and Plaistow, NH. The company says it has been at this for 20 years; the Better Business Bureau dates the LLC to 2012, counts 14 years and 10 employees, and grades it A+ without accreditation. It also turns up as a North Andover Chamber of Commerce member. Commercial snow and ice removal, offered around the clock in winter, is the other half of the calendar. Across three years and five sources the reviews stay consistently positive, and the theme is ordinary work done properly rather than showpiece design: crews that arrive when they said they would, cleanups where nothing gets skipped, and lawn renovation that gets a full day instead of a fast pass. Repeat customers appear often enough that the relationship, not the one-off job, looks like the model here. The complaints that exist are about estimates, not the finished work. At least one customer pushed back on how a quote was priced, and the BBB carries a negative review on the profile as well. That is a narrow, specific caution against a broadly positive history — worth an itemized written estimate and a clear scope before you commit, particularly on a larger one-time job like clearing or hardscape. They are a sensible call for a homeowner who wants a property maintained through the season by the same crew, or a yard brought back after neglect. Confirm the price in writing, ask what the estimate covers and what it does not, and — if you need winter service — check whether their snow work extends to residential properties or stays commercial.

Ground Care did my fall cleanup last week and they did a fantastic job. I couldn't be happier with their attention to detail and respect for my gardens and property. I will definitely contact them for my spring cleanup. Very professional and a pleasure to work with

We were so pleased with the work done by Ground Care! The communication with Adam was excellent. The staff were professional, polite, showed up when then said and we couldn’t be happier with the results! Would highly recommend using this company! .

I’ve had Ground Care Landscaping work on my lawn several times, most recently core aeration/overseeding. The service and pricing was great. I do most of the work in my yard. But sometimes I need help
