Forestry degrees are an unusual thing to find behind a landscaping truck. Twin Landscaping says its founders — twins Peter and Chris — graduated in Forestry/Arboriculture and have worked the North Shore and southern New Hampshire since 2008, working out of North Andover. What it advertises runs from weekly property maintenance through landscape construction and property enhancement, plus 24/7 snow plowing and de-icing for commercial properties over the winter. The coverage it states for itself stays close to home: North Andover, Andover and Boxford. The written history is short, and it is old. Both reviews on file date from 2023, both five stars. In an August 2023 review a homeowner listed several jobs in a row — foundation plantings, an expansive raised bed, a row of hydrangea trees, and a rebuild of the front steps, walkway and patio — and what stuck with them was something small: "At a time when it's hard just to get contractors to return the call, they are responsive, creative, and efficient." A December 2023 reviewer wrote in much more general terms, about honesty and reliability, and named Peter as the person they dealt with. Two things are worth pinning down before booking. The tenure story does not line up: the company dates itself to 2008, while its Better Business Bureau profile puts the business start at August 2010 and counts 15 years. That same profile carries an A+ grade, says the company is not BBB accredited, and lists one employee with Christopher Weger as president — so ask who will actually be on site for a bigger build. For plantings, walkways and patio work in the North Andover area, this is a reasonable call, particularly if arborist training matters for your trees and shrubs. Ask for references from the last year or two, since the newest written account of their work is from late 2023.
