Groundscapes Express is a Wrentham, MA company. Its website says Groundscapes Express, Inc. has served as an erosion and stormwater control company in Massachusetts since 1998, delivering erosion control and stormwater management solutions. An undated suzannesmomsblog.com post names John Engwer as owner of Groundscapes Express Inc. and mentions the company's composting facility. In 2023, a 959watd.com article reported that Groundscapes Express presented a landscaping plan at a meeting on behalf of the proponents, and that Bill Sims, the Attorney for New Hope Chapel, believed that plan was influential in the Board's decision. In 2014, an nbcboston.com piece reported that DEP Commissioner David Cash came by Groundscapes Express Inc. in Wrentham. In a 2025 review giving two stars, a customer wrote that the contract was signed and sent back March 12 but the work did not start until April 9, because the guy who answers the phone forgot to call digsafe, and that rain added another 2 days. The same 2025 review said they could not give a final price on the day, added 5% to the bill for a credit card payment, and that the total came to 448.45 more than the estimate.

I had the Contract signed and sent back March 12. They didn’t start the work until April 9 one month to the day because the guy that answers the phone lives in Maine and forgot to call digsafe pushing me back, then it rained one day so they added another 2 days, I went to the job 3 times that day with a check ready to give them but they couldn’t give me a final price so then after repeated calls looking for payment I give them a credit card that they added 5% to the bill. So I get the runaround for a month then the total was 448.45 more than the estimate. Massive set back for someone trying to get things done in a timely fashion. I’ll never use them again.
