Simply Safer Premium Lawn Care works out of Wrentham and treats lawns across most of Massachusetts and Rhode Island, built around organic and organic-based fertilization programs rather than conventional chemical ones, with hydroseeding, core aeration and overseeding, compost topdressing, tree and shrub care, and organic mosquito, tick and ant control alongside. Its own anniversary announcement, carried by AP News in March 2026, marks a quarter-century in business and describes it as a local, veteran-owned company. It has been BBB accredited since 2010 and holds an A+ grade there. The review record is unusually deep for a lawn service — 166 written accounts across six sources going back to 2015, and Google publishes a 4.6 average from 292 ratings. What comes through most consistently is the crews. Reviewers name the technician who turned up — Nick, Joe, Aiden, Luis, James, Mark, Evan — and describe the same behaviours: a phone call, an email and a note on the door before a visit; a walk of the property to hear what the homeowner is worried about; an explanation of what is being applied. A customer in May 2026 who called them in as a last attempt on a problem lawn said they had made a remarkable difference in a few applications, and that technicians had answered their questions and written down explicit directions to follow. Another, in May 2026, has been with them since 2006 across two properties, and stays for the organic products because of grandchildren and pets. A tick problem in October 2025 got a technician out the very next day. The complaints cluster on the office rather than the lawn. A homeowner writing in April 2026 had a good first couple of years and then a bad one: the treatment day could no longer be accommodated, crews did not turn up on the scheduled days, the first treatment landed two weeks late with no call in between, and fertilizer was sometimes left unblown from decks and the driveway — and the comments they left as asked went unanswered. A 2025 reviewer put it more bluntly, saying the office staff were confused and customer service was poor. A third, a customer of almost eight years, was cancelled over a late $100 payment and used the review to add that a bare patch at the back was never fixed and that overseeding was scheduled the day before rain. This is a good fit for a homeowner who wants a lower-pesticide programme and values a technician who explains the visit. Before signing, pin down what happens when a treatment date slips, who calls you when it does, and how a bare or failing patch gets re-treated — that is where the record shows the friction.

Great quality and responsiveness to issues!
Been using Simply Safer for 3 years and lawn looks great even with the hot dry weather this summer. Nick always spot treat the weeds when here (there aren't many). In the fall we have them aerate and overseed which has made such a big difference to our lawn. Thinking of adding their composting service this fall.
Jason is excellent, he takes pride in his work and treats my property like it's his!!
Austin is a great guy always happy and pleasant I'm lucky he is serving our lawn.
I hired this company as a last attempt to ameliorate a problematic lawn. They have done a remarkable job in just a few applications. Technicians have patiently answers my numerous questions and provided explicit directions for me to follow in this restoration process. We know when they will be here, what is going to be done, and what to expect. Their services and willingness to answer customer concerns have produced customer satisfaction that is seldom equalled in today’s world. It is a pleasure to associate with individuals who are vested in customer satisfaction. The aeration and seeding service Aiden performed was outstanding to say the least.
