A customer writing in 2025 summed the job up better than any brochure could: "I asked for scorched earth and I got it." That is the work — M5 Landworks runs forestry mulching equipment through land that has gone to brush and hands it back open. The company says it started in 2019 and operates out of Wrentham, taking residential, commercial, recreational and agricultural jobs across New England. Eleven Google reviews, all five stars, spanning 2022 to this summer. Mike is the name in nearly every one of them, usually working alongside someone else — his brother Matt on a 2025 perimeter-clearing job that also involved laying out an equestrian trail, an operator named Joe on two separate 2022 lot clearings. The older accounts carry the most detail. One homeowner, writing in 2022, had bought a 1.5-acre parcel abutting their property that thick briars had made impassable; after the clearing they were planning an orchard on it, and had already signed M5 up for more work on another section. Another 2022 customer described a February job on a similar-sized lot — a "brush and vine engulfed jungle" opened up in a few days, in weather that would have given most crews a reason to reschedule. The two most recent reviews, from April and July 2026, land on the parts of a job that have nothing to do with machinery. One credits the crew with keeping them informed at every stage and arriving when they said they would. The other, a pasture cleared for horses, calls the prices fair and the scheduling reliable. Two things are worth knowing before you call. First, this is land work: pasture restoration, fence lines, trails, perimeter mulching and selective lot clearing are what the customers describe, so if your project runs past clearing into planting or ongoing grounds care, confirm the scope up front. Second, all eleven reviews sit on Google. Four years of consistent five-star accounts from a small crew is a real history, but it is one platform's worth of it, with no second chorus to check against. If you have acreage that has disappeared under brush — a field, a fence line, a trail, a lot you want buildable — this is squarely the outfit for that job. Walk the property with them, get the terrain and equipment fit settled, and pin the scope and price down before the machines roll.
If only every contractor operated like this team! They did an excellent job clearing our property exactly how we wanted it, but what really stood out was their communication and accountability. They kept us informed every step of the way, showed up when they said they would, and delivered exactly what they promised. On top of that, they’re genuinely nice guys who are a pleasure to work with and appreciate feedback. It’s rare to find this level of professionalism. Highly recommend!
They are awesome. Cleared a ton of our land to make a pasture for the horses. Mike is super nice and helpful. Fair prices, communicative, reliable, prompt and thorough. Very highly recommend!
Fabulous service and value. Mike worked with me to schedule a convenient time and was flexible with changes. I asked for scorched earth and I got it. Very neat job and we couldn’t be happier.
Met with Mike for perimeter clearing on my large property. I also wanted to make use of my wooded land for an equestrian trail and needed help with the design. He had great ideas. He and his brother Matt were great with communication, work ethic and the final product. Highly recommend them.
Very happy! very professional , I wish I had more land to clear! highly reccomend
