Haffner's describes itself on its website as a family-owned fuel company that delivers heating oil, propane and kerosene and also handles HVAC maintenance, repair and installation. The company says it has been fueling vehicles since 1925. A 2024 Google reviewer came home from a trip to find the furnace out on a cold day. That 2024 customer said Tommy, who was on call, walked them through a reset that failed again, then drove and searched for hours for the parts the powervent needed. The same 2024 reviewer held a light while he worked outside in the dark, and wrote that they had heat at midnight. In a 2023 Google review, a customer thanked the company for sending Jeff and his partner and said they did the job without any problems. A 2024 Google reviewer gave two stars and wrote that the billing department "blames customer repeatedly for own mistakes" until the customer proves it. In an April 2025 Reddit thread, a poster said Haffner's flooded someone's basement with about 150 gallons of oil because the driver hooked up to the old fill neck. In a July 2024 r/concordma thread, a commenter wrote that it seemed to them Haffner's had the best oil price.

We came home from a trip to find our furnace was out, and it was somewhat cold day. I called Haffner and was put in touch with Tommy who was on call. He walked me through a reset which seemed to work at first, but it failed again and I called Tommy back. He ended up having to drive and search for hours for the parts needed for our powervent and I assisted him (held a light) as he did the work in the cold dark outside. We came close to giving up but Tommy persisted and we finally have heat at midnight as I write this. Our sincere thanks to Tommy and Haffner.
Their billing department is terrible. Blames customer repeatedly for own mistakes then after customer has to jump through hoops to prove it to them they say oh okay, I’ll let corporate know. Awful.
