HeatMizer's HomeAdvisor listing names energy audits, spray foam and blown cellulose insulation, blown-in insulation and heat pump installation among its services. In a January 2021 HomeAdvisor review, Alan Boucher wrote that they were detailed and responsive in surveying the work and preparing the quote, came when they said they would, and covered 1000+ square feet of the home renovation with closed-cell and HD Cellulose products over three days. He said the team was knowledgeable and considerate and that they performed to the commitments they made. In a July 2019 review, a customer wrote that Heatmizer conducted an energy audit, replaced the interior ceiling lights with energy-efficient LED flood lights, spray foamed the interior cellar walls and added insulation in the attic. Another July 2019 reviewer wrote that Bob Frechette did an energy audit on their 1970 mobile home before a remodel, that they had them spray foam and insulate after gutting it, and that he installed a Mitsubishi heat pump. In an October 2017 review, a customer wrote that they had bought a three-season camp without insulation and that Bob personally completed or oversaw the insulation project, from the energy audit to the rebate forms, and recommended another contractor for the heat pump. On Reddit, a February 2022 r/Maine post said Bob "did my house and cut everything more than half", and a January 2018 r/Maine post placed the business in Sanford. One September 2019 HomeAdvisor review was a complaint: the customer hired Heat Mizer for an energy assessment audit and wrote that they did not bring the thermal camera with them, saying it was too hot to bring it in their vehicle. The customer wrote that the final report included an attic-access picture taken with a thermal camera even though no camera was used, and that they did not feel they received an adequate audit by Efficiency Maine's guidelines.
