A Dracut homeowner handed Hebert and Sons a 100-plus-year-old baby grand this June, and the part that stuck with him wasn't the drive — it was the prep. The wrapping, he wrote, was done as if the piano were headed across the country rather than across town. That instinct for protecting things is the through-line. The company is based in Dracut and says it has been at this for 24 years with a four-person crew; on Thumbtack it charges $125 an hour with a three-hour minimum. Customers in June named the movers who showed up — Joshua and Bryan — and described furniture wrapped before it left the house. A willingness to absorb extra work shows up too. One customer had 12 heavy tubs that needed to go to a different room mid-job, and the crew took it on. Another, uneasy about handing his belongings to strangers, came away recommending them. The honest caveat is depth. All six ratings sit on Thumbtack, every one of them from 2026, averaging 5.0 — a clean run, but a short one, with no second platform to check it against. Its Thumbtack background check was completed in June 2026. If you're moving a piano or anything you'd rather see wrapped than wedged, this is a reasonable call. Pin down what the three-hour minimum covers, and get the hourly rate in writing before the truck rolls.

Great experience! They took good care of my 100+ year old baby grand. Although it was just a move across town, the prep, wrapping and delivery were as if the old girl was headed across country. Easy to work with. Very knowledgeable about piano construction. Worked quickly, but safely. Great communication. Excellent value. I’ll have them back if I need to move her again. Thank you!

Great movers efficient and hardworking. And a dash of witty perrsonality and understanding to make the very stressful moving experience if not a pleasure very tolerable. On top of it they really listened and were great when I needed to move 12 very heavy tubs to another room. Highly recommend!

I usually do my own moves but i needed the extra help. I called Hebert movers. I was nervous at first but when i met the guys they made me feel more secure about my stuff. They were all friendly and funny good sense of humors. They really helped me in a pinch so needless to say I would definitely recommend them

Highly recommend! I reached out to this company on Thursday night for a quote, and they responded within 20 minutes. Their price was half of what I had been quoted by another, larger company, and they were even able to schedule my appointment for the very next day. Communication was quick and clear from the start. They arrived a little early and were incredibly friendly and professional. After living in my home for more than 20 years, it had become quite a disaster, but their two-man crew cleared out the furniture from my three bedrooms, dining room, and living room in under 30 minutes. I was extremely impressed with their efficiency and service. I highly recommend this company and will definitely refer them to my friends and family. If I ever need moving or clean-out services again, I won’t hesitate to contact them. Five stars!
