Heritage Oil

Heritage Oil is a heating-oil delivery company that says it has been in business 31 years. Its website names a service area of Barrington, Warren, Bristol, Portsmouth, Tiverton, Little Compton, Middletown and Newport, and on its BBB page the company describes scheduled oil delivery along with oil burner and furnace cleanings and service. A 2024 customer said their regular delivery service could not come until Wednesday over a holiday weekend, so they called Heritage on a Saturday. That 2024 customer said Heritage Oil was at the house within the hour even though they were not current customers, and thanked Lisa on the phone and Antonio for the delivery. A 2022 customer filling their oil tank for the first time said they called three companies, spoke directly with Heritage, and that it arrived by 9am. A 2025 customer who said they were a senior citizen ran out of oil on a cold Friday afternoon and was told no oil could be delivered until Monday, though they said the company advertised 24 hour service. That 2025 customer wrote that the owner was unpleasant, and that on Monday they were told their account had been cancelled because of their attitude. A 2025 caller asking about fueling for a construction project said the woman who answered said "not interested" and hung up.
