Three reviews, all from late 2025, all five stars — and one of them names the thing painters get judged on. Writing in October 2025, a customer said the crew did excellent interior painting work, showed up punctual, and cleaned up thoroughly afterwards. The other two were briefer: one December 2025 customer said the job was done quickly and efficiently, another in October 2025 said they would hire again. High Quality Painting & Decor works out of an apartment address on Elm Street in Lynn and covers the North Shore — Marblehead, Swampscott, Beverly, Peabody, Lynnfield and a handful of towns beyond. Interior and exterior painting is the whole of what it advertises on Houzz; on HomeAdvisor it also lists exterior trim installation, replacement and repair, which is the kind of rot-and-carpentry work that comes with exterior painting. Spanish is spoken. The jobs behind those three reviews ranged from $100 to $10,000, so it takes both small touch-ups and full exterior work. A single project gallery of seventeen photos, shot in Swampscott, is the only portfolio on file. Two things to sort out before booking. The company's own HomeAdvisor page contradicts itself on how long it has been trading — the description claims almost 20 years of experience while the highlights box beside it says 16. And the Massachusetts trade licence it lists, number 215724 with a May 2027 expiry, is self-reported to HomeAdvisor rather than confirmed; its Houzz page lists no licence number at all. Three reviews is a thin record for a painter, however good they are. Ask for two or three North Shore references from the past year, get the prep and cleanup written into the quote, and check that registration number with the state.
