Hinch-Crowley Realty Associates is a property management and real estate company based in Nashua, New Hampshire, managing rental buildings across the city and coordinating maintenance for tenants directly rather than farming it out — one landlord customer describes using the company for seven years to run three properties without having to think about rent collection or upkeep. The strongest, most consistent thread across the reviews is the maintenance team itself. John (also spelled Jhon) Marin and Robinson are named individually dozens of times for the same kind of call: a leak found in the middle of the night and fixed by morning, a clogged toilet cleared in ninety minutes, windows installed and cleaned up after, an AC unit put in, a bathroom extraction fan replaced despite a difficult layout. Reviewers describe them as fast, thorough, and quick to explain what they did — Robinson shows up across more than a dozen different addresses in the reviews with the same result each time. The property-management side of the business draws a different, more serious set of complaints. A June 2026 review reports the company withheld a full security deposit and charged an extra month's rent after a tenant moved out. A February 2026 review describes a mice infestation that persisted through a second winter. A February 2025 review describes an apartment application fee that kept growing after the applicant tried to withdraw. And in a 2023 review, a tenant described going four months without hot water and being handed paperwork the company got wrong. A July 2026 review also describes a contested water-damage claim, with the tenant and the condo association disagreeing over whose insurance should cover it. One thing worth flagging directly: at least one Google review carries five stars but a written complaint about "horrible properties" and poor maintenance — a case where the number and the words don't match, worth keeping in mind when reading the overall rating. For someone considering Hinch-Crowley as a landlord or renter, the reviews describe two sides of the same company: a maintenance crew that responds fast and does careful, well-received work once a request is in the system, but a meaningful share of the complaints are about money and habitability — deposits, fees, and how long a serious problem sat before it got fixed. Worth asking directly about deposit and fee policies, and about how pest issues get handled, before signing a lease or turning over a property.
Jhon is great and professional!
We woke up in the middle of the night to a leak coming through our bathroom ceiling. We called Hinch‑Crowley and they had someone out right away to check it. By the next morning, Robinson came and fixed everything within an hour. The whole process was quick, easy, and handled really well. We were relieved and grateful for how fast they took care of it.
Repair review. Placed repair request at 8:30 and received repair notice at 9:00. Thanks for the fast response. Jhon Marin was very polite and professional. Ĥe repaired the two toilet leaks in only an hour and a half. He made sure all trash was picked up and removed from my bathrooms before he left. Great job!
Good job fixing drain pipe. Not easy but Jhon kept at it and made things livable.
July 23, This has been the worst condo management company I’ve ever dealt with. On May 28, my condo sustained water damage from a leak originating from the unit above me. The upstairs owner’s insurance completed its investigation and determined that the condominium association is responsible for the repairs, then closed the claim. Since then, I have made multiple phone calls unable to get anyone on the phone, submitted maintenance requests, and sent several emails. Weeks later, I have yet to receive a single response or acknowledgment from management. As a homeowner who pays monthly condo fees, I expect basic communication and accountability. Instead, I’ve been completely ignored while my property remains damaged. A management company should communicate with homeowners, especially when there is an active property damage issue. Unfortunately, that has not been my experience. I hope this review encourages management to improve its communication and responsiveness so other homeowners don’t have to deal with the same frustration.
