We had a really fantastic experience with Jim, inspecting our large and old farmhouse and barn. He was very personable and spent many hours with us, thoroughly checking everything over. Booking was simple and he was on the property within two days of us calling. Not only did he come out quickly, he arrived on time and then emailed us our report that same evening. We've had many home inspections on other properties and nobody has been this prompt. Maybe his prices are a little higher than others, yet we felt that his service and product more than justified the fee. Paying for a GOOD home inspection might be pricey up front, but the amount of money and headache it can save you in the future is so worth the initial cost. Highly recommend! Thanks Jim!

If I could give 0 stars, I would. The inspector missed over $50,000 worth of repairs, including major health and safety concerns that could have literally killed us after moving in. Every technician who has since been to the property has asked how these issues were missed and described it as frankly "embarrassing" for an inspector. The inspector spoke with confidence during the walkthrough, but that confidence was clearly not backed by competence. For what we were charged, the report should have been thorough and informative, not a bullet-point list with little explanation of the actual concerns. I've showed professional technicians the report I was given to explain what they are here to fix, and they can't figure out any of what the inspector wrote in his report. What's the point of a home inspection if you're going to miss 90% of the issues and not explain the issues you identified correctly well enough for a TRAINED PROFESSIONAL to understand? My guess, to get a check and move on to the next one. To make matters worse, there is essentially no accountability due to the contract you are required to sign. Buyers beware, this was a costly and extremely frustrating experience. They were also suggested by my realtor, so be careful if you're searching for a home and your realtor suggests this company. Who knows what they talked about before Hi-Net came out.

Bob found these defects in "A Beautifully Renovated Home" by a residential builder for over 20 years. Other than the concealed hole in the roof, the siding that waves, the rotted support beam, the rotted subfloor, the melted electrical wiring, the water filled skylights, the open sewer pipe and the corroded water supply pipe, there were only about a dozen defects left in this FLIP. These are the defects that a builder takes a lot of pride in his work as a residential builder for over 20 years.

This "inspector" missed literally TENS of thousands of dollars worth of issues that should have been caught and addressed by the seller but instead we now have to pay to fix. Leaking bathtubs, broken/non-functioning HVAC, multiple roof/gutter issues... I do NOT recommend this company.

Hired HI-Net for my home inspection and was very pleased with their service. Jim was very helpful and provided some great insight on our new home. Would happy use again and will be recommending to others.
