What they describe is closer to a tutorial than a walkthrough. An August 2026 client wrote that Dan took them through every visible detail of the house, explained how each system worked, and sent them off with maintenance tips. A June 2026 customer had him on a Deck House estate-sale property for over four hours and came away with a plan for its flat roofing and water quality. In April 2026 a first-time buyer counted nearly three hours on a roughly 4,000-square-foot house, photographs and explanations the whole way through. The report is the other thing people keep returning to. A July 2025 buyer had theirs the same day and called it exceptionally detailed; a May 2024 reviewer said it arrived on time and covered every aspect raised during the visit; a July 2026 client singled out the system he uses to deliver it. The most telling account is from May 2025. A buyer suspected the sellers were misrepresenting a house they wanted anyway, hired him for the offer, and wrote afterwards that the inspection proved the misrepresentation. That is the entire reason the fee exists. He does not vanish once the report lands. An October 2025 client said he followed up to answer water-test questions and made suggestions; a May 2024 first-time buyer had him go back through the report a few days later to help decide which repairs mattered first. A May 2024 reviewer was on their third inspection with him. Booking reads as straightforward rather than fraught — a June 2024 customer called scheduling over the phone efficient, and a November 2023 one put it as simply easy to schedule with. If you are buying around Acton and want someone who will spend the hours and then teach you the house rather than hand you a PDF, this is that profile. Clear your afternoon: the 2026 accounts run three to four hours on site, and the value in them plainly comes from staying for the whole thing.

Dan goes above and beyond! He was super patient and detailed from start to finish. He walked us through every visible house detail, explained how all the systems function, and even gave us extra homeowner tips for ongoing maintenance. Professional, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful – Dan certainly stands out as the best inspector we've worked with!
Incredibly patient, kind, thorough, and takes his time to walk you through, educate you on what you’re looking at, and answer any questions. He is responsive, an excellent communicator, and beyond dependable. Also, the system he uses for sending the inspection is so helpful - not only does it easily allow for pdf conversion and is easily accessible, but it allows you to select items to make lists off of for your agent, the seller, etc. highly recommend. You get what you pay for - a high quality product and service - worth every penny.
