Home Sweet Home Health Services is a home health care and companion caregiving agency based in Hull, Massachusetts, run by Todd and Jennifer Palermo since 2013. The business's own website states it is CHAP-accredited and Medicare-certified, and its Better Business Bureau profile carries an A+ grade and lists a Massachusetts Department of Public Health nursing license (RN256812). Homeowners searching for a house cleaner should know upfront that this is not a cleaning company. Every source on file, including the business's own website, describes it as an in-home caregiving service, providing CNAs, home health aides, skilled nursing, and therapy for people recovering from surgery, managing conditions like Alzheimer's, or needing ongoing support with daily living. Reviewers consistently praise how quickly the agency responds to a new care request, often putting a plan and a caregiver in place within days, with Todd and Jennifer personally handling intake calls and in-home assessments. Several families report working with the same caregivers for a year or more through changing schedules and needs. One 2024 review stands out as an exception, reporting inconsistent caregivers, missed appointments, and schedule changes with little explanation — worth asking about directly if staffing consistency matters. Anyone looking specifically for house cleaning should look elsewhere; the record here is entirely about home health and companion care, not cleaning services.
Home Sweet Home (HSH) was the second agency I tried, after the first didn't work out as I had hoped. And it was a really great move indeed. I met with Jen to discuss mom's specific needs, and she promptly put together a comprehensive care plan and started scheduling available caregivers. I particularly liked that Jen was careful to find a permanent caregiver who would be a good personality match with mom. And in that, she was very successful in pairing mom with Maguy. The two became fast friends, and I could tell that mom was very comfortable with Maguy and enjoyed her company. And in addition to providing wonderful care, I found HSH's billing and payment process to be very easy - one less thing for me to think about. I feel very comfortable recommending HSH without hesitation.
If there were ten stars available to check off for Home Sweet Home, they would have rated all of them. The owner, Jennifer, arrived for an evaluation of my husband just a few days after I called, and she started me with a wonderful CNA. HSH worked with me to occasionally adjust the schedule, adding or subtracting a day as needed. I have never found staff to be more helpful, respectful, and reliable. One call and my requests were met. As my husband's decline continued, both owners, Jennifer and Todd, were on top of my growing needs, often working well into the night to help. This agency was started to provide help to our community members in need. They spell HELP with capital letters, and they know how to carry HELP through! BRAVO and THANK YOU! Our Family is extremely grateful for the care that was provided for our Mom from Home Sweet Home Health Services. Todd and his wife Jennifer, along with their administrative staff, and their home health aides are all extremely compassionate, caring people. We could not be more pleased with the care that they provided for our Mom. We wouldn't hesitate to ask for their help to provide care for our loved ones should the need ever arise again.
We reached out, needing a caregiver quickly and I found Todd and Jen very helpful in the process. Not just to have us as clients, but in overall care that was needed. Todd was helpful, offering assistance for veterans access and Jen was on-site when we needed some some medical help. They are good people and hands on when needed.
