A homeowner writing in December 2023 said a contractor had dug up their driveway, taken payment for nearly 2,000 square feet of pavers, and disappeared. They posted an ad out of desperation — and the crew that answered and finished the job was Honeydo4you. The name is the business model. Honeydo4you is an Acton general contractor whose Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration is active, and what people hire it for is the list: the deck that's rotting, the walls that need painting, the driveway, the bathroom, the door that never closed right. Mauri Cabral and Ageu de Menezes are the two names reviewers use most; Junior, Gabriel and Rich turn up running crews of their own. The company says it has been at this more than fifteen years and works Acton out to Lowell, Framingham, Newton and a dozen towns in between. What customers keep describing is how fast the work finishes. In June 2025 one had four wood floors refinished, a carpeted room re-laid and waterproof vinyl put down in an unfinished basement — three business days, start to finish. A May 2025 homeowner went from quote to completed job in under four; they had found the company through an Acton parents' Facebook group, where they said Ageu's name came up every time someone asked for a contractor. In January 2025 another got a quote the same day they called for a new wall and door to close off an extra room, and the build itself took a day. The range is genuinely wide. Reviewers from 2022 through 2024 describe exterior sill and trim repair, a rotted screened porch rebuilt into a four-season room, a full kitchen renovation, a bathroom taken back to new tile and a new shower, several driveways torn out and repaved, and interior and exterior painting on whole houses. The sour account is from October 2023 and it is specific: that customer said their renovation was done fast but poorly, that part of the ceiling had to be replaced, and that their furniture was left outside in the weather. It is the only account of its kind in five years of reviews, and it is the one to raise. Two milder notes come from the same month — one reviewer called the work good and the price not the cheapest, and another said Mauri was not on site during the two days their porch repair took, though he stayed on top of the crew by phone. For a multi-item house list around Acton and MetroWest, this is a strong call. Ask who will actually run your job day to day, get the scope written out the way one 2023 customer praised the contract for being, and settle the clean-up and finish standard in writing before anyone starts demolition.
