Hot & Cold Plumbing & Heating LLC

Hot & Cold Plumbing & Heating is run by owner Eric Watson (named on its BBB profile), based in Reading and serving Haverhill, the Merrimack Valley, and towns across southern New Hampshire. The company self-reports Massachusetts and New Hampshire plumbing and gas-fitting licenses, along with an A+ BBB grade — though BBB's page notes the business is not BBB-accredited, and none of the license numbers have been verified against a state registry. Eric handles jobs of every size, and reviewers keep landing on the same word: reasonable. A July 2026 review describes a new water heater installed and organized in half a day at a great price; in an August 2025 review, a homeowner had all the piping in their house replaced along with new showers, a tub, bathroom vanities, and a dryer vent, calling the project efficient and reasonably priced. In a February 2023 review, a customer described a deep-freeze pipe burst that poured hundreds of gallons into an office and basement — Eric found and fixed it fast enough that they didn't lose a day of work. A couple of things are worth checking directly rather than taking from the website: it states both '25+ Years' and 'Over 50 Years of Experience' on the same page, while BBB lists the business as 17 years old (started 2009); BBB also lists a different phone number than the one on the company's own site. For anything from a same-day fixture swap to a full re-pipe, this is a plumber with a clean run of five-star reviews and a fair reputation; just confirm the license numbers and contact details yourself before booking bigger work.
