HUA HVAC sells the opposite of what most heating companies sell: a repair before a replacement. The shop runs out of Methuen, started in 2019, and sticks to residential work — annual maintenance, AC and heating repair, mini splits and heat pumps, boilers and oil or gas systems — across the Merrimack Valley, Greater Boston and southern New Hampshire. It is owner-operated by Joshua Maldonado, who the company says served as Military Police in the U.S. Air Force before moving into the trades, and brings more than ten years of HVAC work with him. The company describes itself as veteran-owned and says it holds Bosch, Mitsubishi and LG manufacturer certifications. The maintenance side is packaged as a Comfort Club, from about $20 a month, which is worth reading closely — what the plan includes, what it discounts, and whether after-hours calls cost extra. Everything above comes from the company itself; no independent reviews turned up on any platform during this research, and no state licence was confirmed here. If you are calling them, that is what to close: ask for the Massachusetts and New Hampshire licence numbers and a certificate of insurance, ask what the diagnostic fee is and whether it comes off the repair, and get the plan terms in writing. A repair-first shop is a good thing to find — verify it the same way you would any other.
