Husson Drywall is a Pelham, New Hampshire outfit built around one skill: hanging and finishing drywall cleanly, whether that's a full addition, a garage rebuild, or fixing what a plumber or electrician just opened up. Paul, the owner, and his crew show up across renovation, new-construction, and repair jobs — closets torn out for demolition, walls opened for plumbing work, ceilings damaged by a broken sprinkler line — and the same details keep surfacing: fair pricing, a crew that shows up when it says it will, and finish work good enough that other tradespeople on the same jobsite comment on it. The track record runs deep — 47 reviews from 2020 through 2026 across five sources, with a 4.9-star average on 63 Google ratings and perfect marks on Angi and HomeAdvisor. Recent work skews toward additions and full-room finishes: a 2025 review describes stripping popcorn ceilings and skim-coating an entire 2,800-square-foot house, joint by joint, while another from the same year covers finishing walls reopened for plumbing repairs and patching water-damaged ceilings. Several homeowners specifically mention Paul steering them toward a cheaper approach than what they'd planned to pay for, and general contractors who've used the crew on multiple jobs describe them as a dependable sub, not a one-off hire. One reviewer, in the middle of an insurance claim, credits Paul with turning around an estimate fast enough to meet the carrier's deadline. The one sour note, from a 2024 review, is a new homeowner who called for a quote and found the person who answered the phone rude — a single account against a long run of praise for the crew's professionalism once they're actually on-site, but worth knowing before you dial in cold. If the project is drywall-heavy — a gutted room, a garage or barn build-out, a ceiling wrecked by water, or a bad texture job you want smoothed into something modern — this is a crew with years of exactly that kind of work behind it. Get a quote in hand and confirm scheduling against your job size; the reviews suggest they're worth the call even if the first impression on the phone isn't a great one.
Paul and his team were professional, courteous and got the work done in a timely manner. They perfectly repaired cracks and dings in the walls and ceiling and was very fair with the price. Paul was open, honest and pleasant to work with and strongly recommend his services.
I can’t say enough about the quality of The job that Paul and his crew did. I’ve been in the construction industry for many years and this was one of the best drywall jobs I’ve seen. Paul’s communication was excellent as well. I’ve already referred Husson Drywall to my friends. Thanks Paul, great job!
This review is long overdue. I reached out to Paul about finishing some areas that were opened after demolishing a closet and two walls. It also included finishing a wall that had been opened for plumbing repairs in addition to repairing water damaged ceilings and fixing some unsightly cracks. In essence, there were about a half dozen small and medium jobs to do throughout the house. Paul took the phone call, patiently listened to my laundry list of things then asked for a general timeline which I was looking for. I explained there was some urgency due to my father-in-law abruptly having to move in with us over health concerns. Paul moved his schedule around to agree to look at the job himself the next evening to give a good estimate. This was the first of many good signs. He showed up for the estimate on time and was incredibly friendly and honestly just listened to what we wanted. Afterwards he gave several alternative suggestions on how to go about the projects but at no point steered us in a way we didn’t want to go. We also discussed the unrealistically tight timeframe we had to work with before my FIL moved in. He again just listened, took measurements and said he would have to look over his schedule before getting back to us with any commitments regarding that timeframe. We had an offer from him by the next day. There was a small range in project costs but both ends were very close. We agreed to the extremely fair pricing, especially given the tight timeline and just “nuisance level” of small tasks throughout the house. He began work when we agreed to, showing up on time and still extremely friendly. We tried our best to be out of his way but it’s tough with small children, but Paul was nothing but nice and understanding. Over the next several weeks he showed up a half dozen times, every time was well communicated, well planned, on time and friendly. We encountered two of his employees a couple times and they were all the same qualities. Once during this whole process I had to be the one to cancel on him at the last minute (due to flooring installation delays) and Paul took the delay in stride, rescheduled and continued on as before. In short, he got the job done on time, as promised, was flexible and within the price range he provided. Now the quality is also huge here. Despite all the mudding, painting, scraping, etc. there was minimal cleanup. Even when sanding they used a sweet Festool sander/vac that left a surprisingly small amount of dust (which they mostly cleaned as well). They put on a couple coats of primer which was evenly applied and with no runs or drips to be found. All the surfaces were incredibly smooth with seamless transitions between old and new sheetrock. Even when I got close and personal putting the final coats of paint on myself I couldn’t tell what was old vs new. It was perfect. I look forward to working with him again.
Flawless work, fast turnaround, and fair pricing—hard to beat that combo. These guys delivered a perfect finish without cutting corners or wasting time. Definitely a go-to drywall crew.
We hired Paul and his team to remove the popcorn ceilings in our 2,800-square-foot house. The team sanded the popcorn, skim-coated the ceilings, and repaired all joints where the walls and ceilings met. They also touched up multiple areas in all rooms that needed it, including a major repair of a wall in the family room that was compromised by water damage. All impacted areas were primed for painting. The result was beautifully smooth ceilings that only needed a coat of paint. Paul's team showed up on time; they were professional, friendly, and (importantly, in my opinion) did an excellent job of cleaning up every day. This included wet-mopping hard floors and vacuuming carpeting, dramatically reducing the significant amount of dust normally associated with this type of job. I highly recommend Husson Drywall for all your drywall needs.
