The company describes itself as an Efficiency Vermont certified member authorized to offer the Heat Saver Loan, which can be used to buy a heat pump or a heat pump hot water heater with no money down. A reformer.com headline marked the company's 50 years. A recent customer had a Mitsubishi mini-split system installed in a townhouse at Stratton, called it "not an easy install," and said the company "had the best plan of all the local Mitsubishi dealers." That customer said cleanup was done every day so their living was not affected. A recent customer wrote that their Mitsubishi HyperHeat mini-splits were performing better than expected and staying efficient even below zero. A 2022 customer wrote that the company had installed ground-mounted solar panels at their Windham, VT property in 2016, then came back in early 2022 after their propane-fired heating system broke down. That job added a hot water heat pump, several cold-climate Mitsubishi heat pumps and a second solar panel, and the 2022 customer said the company took care of all the rebate paperwork. A 2025 customer had a heat pump system and a hot water heat pump installed in Jacksonville, VT after getting a few proposals. A 2025 reviewer who hired the company for heat pumps and solar said it did not try to oversell and was up front about what different systems would and would not handle. A 2021 customer wrote that after a mini-split install the owner came back to inspect, decided it was off by 2 inches, and they spent an entire extra day reinstalling it. Great company, very professional and courteous, everything went as described, Mitsubishi HyperHeat mini-splits are performing BETTER than expected and are EXTREMELY efficient even down to below zero!! Have already recommended the units AND the company to other friends/colleagues, and if/when we expand the coverage we'll be in touch with them for another quote!!
We used ISA to install Mitsubishi mini-split system in a townhouse at Stratton. Not an easy install but they had the best plan of all the local Mitsubishi dealers. Excellent execution. All the workers were very professional. Cleanup was done every day so our living was not affected. Overall excellent experience.

These days it can be hard finding reliable, trustworthy contractors. But I had a good feeling from the moment ISA came for the site visit. That good feeling paid off. We couldn't be happier to have gone with them, for heat pumps and solar. They've been professional, communicative, and on the same page....I really feel like they listened to my and my wife's goals (becoming energy independent and green) and were genuinely motivated by that rather than just by the prospect of a sale. That feels exceedingly rare these days. One example is that when explaining possible heat pump arrangements, they didn't try to oversell us but were super up front about what different systems would and wouldn't be able to handle. No doubt we'll use ISA for future green projects; we've been so happy with everything they've done, from site visit to communication to install.
ISA did my heat pump system and hot water heat pump in Jacksonville VT. I had gotten a few proposals and ISA definitely were the ones who knew what they were doing best. They are very professional, thorough and back up their work. I am glad I went with ISA and highly recommend them.
