In October 2026 two workers from Integrity Home & Chimney showed up exactly on time to check a customer's chimney, laid out three ways to fix the problem, left the choice to the homeowner and were done in under an hour. The Moodus, Connecticut company holds 4.9 stars from 115 Google ratings and 5.0 from 46 on HomeAdvisor. In August 2025 Joe and company took care of two chimneys in rough shape with new caps, crowns, sealant at the roof and sealed brick cracks. In April 2025 Joe and his team installed a liner and chimney cap and did other repairs, and that same month Joe, Jason and Trey fit in a last-minute liner for a grandmother's house when a sale closed early. A May 2025 customer with a 240-year-old chimney said several companies had worked on it before and none could figure it out until Integrity, which fixed the water and fire-hazard issues. In September 2025 Joe and Jason found a crack in a 10-year-old wood stove insert, and the customer had them install a new one with a safer chimney cap. Joe cleaned a pellet stove in March 2026, and in January 2026 he inspected and cleaned a gas insert, using drop cloths and a vacuum. In a 2020 HomeAdvisor review, a customer whose pellet stove would not ignite said Joe came that evening between 7:30 and 8:30, got it running without the new igniter other shops had quoted at about $400, and charged less than he first quoted. In an April 2020 HomeAdvisor review, Joe, Arman and Ben took down a cracked brick chimney from the roof to the basement, and Joe and Arman built a chase covered in brick veneer over two days on the roof. An October 2020 customer described Joe and his crew taking down a cracked brick chimney, rebuilding with a wood chase, removing the interior brick fireplace, installing a propane insert and adding floor-to-ceiling stone work. In a January 2024 review an Essex customer said Joe came on a weekend to get a wood fireplace working for Christmas, then hired the team to replace the hearth and chimney front and install a gas fireplace during a remodel. In September 2024 a one-star reviewer said they tried to reach the company five times by three different means over a month with no reply. In June 2025 a four-star customer said Joe and his partner arrived an hour late, though they stayed over to finish a thorough stove cleaning without charging for the extra time. Its Connecticut home improvement contractor registration, HIC.0651066, is active on the state registry under Integrity Home & Chimney LLC. The company says it has been in business 15 years and offers free estimates.
Two guys showed up exactly on time to check my chimney. They determined three courses of action that would fix my issue and left that decision with me. Total time was less than an hour. Integrity didn't waste my time or money and I'd call them again.
