When a Weston family moved everything they owned from Boston to Colorado in 2024, Road Warrior's owner Josh Damboise flew out to oversee the unloading himself — and nothing in the 53-foot trailer arrived damaged. That hands-on owner shows up in review after review of this Arlington company, which says it has operated since 2000 (its BBB file, opened in 2002, agrees) with about eight employees, a temperature-controlled storage warehouse on Lowell Street, and local, long-distance, international and commercial moves across Greater Boston. The customers are the repeat kind. One has used them for every move over 20 years; another counted eight moves in ten years; a third has trusted them with three elderly aunts and two nieces and nephews. Across 49 Google ratings they average 4.8, and the stories are consistent: this March, Josh and Jeff split a move into two parts around a snowstorm; in July a crew removed doors and handrails to get furniture out and put everything back as it was; a December 2025 customer's Arlington-to-Wayland move included hauling away the things they did not want to bring. Storage in between is routine — several people describe holding belongings at the warehouse for months, or splitting a load between two destinations. Quotes hold. A 2023 reviewer said the hours quoted for a pack-and-load were "spot on" where every previous mover had doubled; a December 2025 customer whose move turned out bigger than expected still saw no surprises on the bill, and another found the quote lower than competitors and got free packing materials. The company advertises capped proposals and free on-site estimates. Piano moving and lab-equipment moves appear too, and a July 2026 r/ArlingtonMA commenter passed them along to a co-worker who used them with a storage pod; a 2022 r/massachusetts poster had done four moves with them. In a June 2023 r/cambridgema thread, a commenter said the best quality vs price is Road Warrior from Arlington. The company lists USDOT, MC and Massachusetts DPU numbers on its site, which have not been checked here against the registries — worth confirming for an interstate move. For a Greater Boston household move with storage in the middle, a long-haul relocation, or a job that needs the owner on the phone, this is a mover people book for decades. Ask for the capped proposal in writing and confirm the interstate registration before a long-distance job.
