J Dias Plumbling Heating & Cooling is run by Jonathan Dias, whose Massachusetts plumber license is active on the state registry. A 2025 review called him honest, hard-working and fairly priced, giving a 10/10 recommendation, and another 2025 review said they'd used him for years and were surprised to see a critical review after their own experience. A 2025 review described a technician who came out as rude, dismissive and offering no explanation for a plumbing concern, coming across as lazy, and a May 2026 review said simply that the service was bad and they would not recommend it. Given one review described a technician as rude and dismissive with no explanation offered, it's worth asking who will be sent out and getting a clear rundown of the work up front.
Would not recommend at all, bad service.
J.Dias PHC is incredibly honest, hard working and always delivers exceptional results with very fair prices. They are trustworthy and professional, 10/10 would recommend.
I needed to write a review after having work done by J.Dias. I was shocked by the review I read ahead of mine. I know everyone is entitled to their own opinion. My first impression was, do they have the right company. J. Dias has done a lot of work for me over the years. When I say work I mean quality work. I found them to be professional, knowledgeable and above all ready to assist with whatever the issue is. They have always been there for me in emergency or regular service calls. One of their most admirable qualities is that they have never tried to make a big job out of something small. It is comforting to know, especially with this type of service, that I have a company I can trust and depend on.
Very dismissive and careless. I called for service to raise concerns about plumbing issues, but the middle-aged man who came out was extremely rude and dismissive. He showed no interest in addressing our concerns, offered no explanation or guidance, and came across as lazy. If this is the level of service being provided—acting careless, dismissive, and unwilling to do the job—then don’t accept the work in the first place. Customers should never feel like a burden. We are the ones paying for the service, and providers should appreciate the people who call and choose to support their business. If you can’t take that seriously, then you shouldn’t be in this field at all. I try to support small local businesses, but this experience made it clear they only care about collecting money, not about treating people with respect or providing real service. Very upsetting, and I will not be recommending them. Save your money and go to a plumbing company that values its customers.
