Best carpenter I’ve ever worked with by far!

Jake and his entire team made our vision come true. We started with a bedroom, an office and a very outdated bathroom (see before pics) and they turned it into our dream master suite. They moved walls, electric, plumbing, and more! The tan room, large closet, and double vanity bathroom is the finished work- outstanding! Not only is his team professional in every way, they are clean, courteous and made this process seamless. Jake really is the true definition of “master contractor” as he walked us through the process each step, while being very conscientious of our budget and our needs. I cannot recommend them enough. I’ve already passed on his information to family and friends. Whether it’s a huge project like home renovation, or even something small, this company can do it all!

Jake and his team did an excellent job building a stair case to our garage loft. The craftsmanship was superior, the cost reasonable and his communication timely. When finished the site was clean and orderly. We could not be happier and will recommend Jake to all our friends.

Did some siding for me couldn’t be happier my house looks amazing

I don't often review contractors , but J.L. Building and Carpentry has earned one. We had a residential job involving several different aspects - siding, porch posts, trim and more. Jake reviewed the project, asked the right questions, was very professional. He then provided a reasonable and detailed quote, which I really appreciate, including a good estimate of time on site. He showed up when he said he would, working around some of the homeowners schedule requests, and did everything necessary to complete the project. Jake is very professional and efficient, and I won't hesitate to ask for him on any next project.
