J L Painting

Four Google reviews, written between 2021 and 2024, and Jimmy Silvio is named in each one. The Peabody company says it has painted interiors and exteriors, residential and commercial, across Greater Boston since 1986, and that it works the North Shore and parts of New Hampshire; its BBB profile lists seven employees and puts the start at 1988. In 2021 a homeowner described the crew repainting the inside of a whole house in under three days, over walls that had been dark and layered with coats: "It looks like a new house now." A 2022 customer wrote that Jimmy came back with quotes for fence staining and an entire second floor, said what he would do and when, then carried it out — and painted two doors in their man cave without charging for them. That same reviewer called him an animated man with 40 years of experience. A 2023 customer said he knows paint; a 2024 one said everything is right when Jimmy finishes a job. On Google the company holds a 5-star average across 13 ratings. Its certifications are the company's own account: the site cites EPA and OSHA certification. For a straightforward interior repaint, an exterior, or a fence that needs staining, this is an owner-run shop whose customers describe Jimmy quoting the job and then doing what he said he would. Ask to see the EPA certification the site cites, get the colors and the scope in writing, and ask for a certificate of insurance before the ladders come out.
