JM Painting and Home Services describes itself as established in 1997, offering full service painting and staining on interior and exterior surfaces, wall paper removal, and all handyman services. A 2022 reviewer wrote that they painted a shed, whole basement, and a large closet and also replaced the shed roof and all the trim on it, calling them a "Great group of people, on time, reliable, quality service, and reasonably priced." In a 2017 review, a homeowner described a "Very neat and professional crew" that removed wallpaper from the entire first floor, patched, sanded, and primed, and said the walls looked great. A 2016 reviewer wrote that wallpaper removal in a stairway and finished basement, along with painting of an entire room including wood paneling, was scheduled for two full days and completed in 1 1/2 days. A 2021 reviewer gave 0.5★ and wrote that "the work he did end up doing was okay," but that John did not listen to the rest of their comments about where he missed some spots, and that he then made fun of their culture and their race and told them it was his country and that they should get out.

The painted our shed, whole basement, and a large closet. They also replaced the shed roof and all the trim on it. Great group of people, on time, reliable, quality service, and reasonably priced. I have now used them 3 different times.
We hired John Michael and J.M. Painting Home Services several years ago to paint our family room as well as a bathroom ceiling vent in our upstairs bathroom. We asked him back for additional painting as well as a closet remodel and carpet installation. Everything looks great! Great quality and attention to detail. Would recommend to family and friends.
Although the work he did end up doing was okay, John did not listen to the rest of our comments of where he missed some spots . He then proceeded to make fun of our culture and our race. I believe he is racist and told us it was his country and that we should get out. horrifying experience as our son was there and heard everything. This man was an absolute scumbag. His workers were okay and nice.
hired JM Painting two years ago to do some interior work on my newly renovated Kitchen and Family Room. They did an excellent job. The painters were experienced and took great care to cover the new cabinets,furnishings and carpets. In June of this year I hired JM again to paint the exterior of our home. It was a big job requiring special staging ant multiple ladders. They took time to properly sand and prep all surfaces to be painted . They also replaced and primed some of the trim boards which had some wood rot.The painters were polite and experienced. They allowed the paint to fully dry before applying a second coat. They did some work at my request which was not included in the original quote for no additional charge. I would use them again and recommend them to others.
They explained the various options and pricing for painting the rooms in my house. I had some unique situations with stucco on the walls in one room and painting over wallpaper in other rooms. They did not try to steer to me the highest cost option but the one that made the most sense for my budget. The work did not quite finish on time for my move in but was close to finished and didn't hinder my move and I was very happy with the quality.
