The trim around several windows was rotted and needed to be replaced. Mike removed all the rotted wood and replaced it with PVC. He worked quietly and efficiently. The new trim looks fantastic. We couldn't be happier.
We hired Mike to replace some rotten wood on the exterior of our home, reshingle a small shed, replace the screening on our porch, and sand and stain our deck floors among other small projects. He did a great job! He is very versatile and very professional and we recommend him without hesitation!
Mike did a great job on repairing my deck! He is very easy to work with and transparent about timing.
I originally hired him to come out, reinforce planks on my back deck, assess the structure underneath the deck and try to fix/salvage whatever can be fixed/salvaged. He did notice some rot, but stated he could remove the wood, replace, and refinish. However, one he ripped up the boards, the story changed and was limited to a solution. Said he could stain the front porch and steps; power washed everything and then had concerns about what stain to use. I asked him to just do the steps and not the porch; unfortunately, he took it upon himself to do the front porch anyway?left stairs unfinished , and after starting to stain it, he didn?t like how it looked and recommended that I sand the entire porch and start from scratch (a porch that was in great shape already, minus the steps)! When I told him I wasn?t interested and reminded him that I had told him less than 24 hours ago that I had asked him NOT to do the porch, he ignored this point and charged me $200!
We recently used Mike with Fine Home Fix to install new basement windows and could not be happier with the results. He was on time, professional, and the quality of the work was incredible. His attention to detail really stood out, and everything was completed neatly and correctly. It’s hard to find someone this reliable and skilled these days. Highly recommend!
