J. Messina Stump Grinding says on its website that its team does stump grinding from Deerfield, Derry and Bedford, NH to the Lakes Region, and that it specializes in difficult-to-remove stump removal. The site also says the business has 10 years in business and is insured. On a recent job, they made time for a next-day appointment and took care of a stump; that customer writes that it took longer to get the stump grinder up and down the driveway than to grind the stump. A 2026 review says they were hired to grind a couple of stumps, brought in a small remote control grinding machine, and had the job done in under an hour. Another 2026 review says that after a quick text with a couple of pictures and a quote, they came the next day in February and were done within a couple of hours, with a promise to come back in the spring if any cleanup was needed; that 2026 reviewer calls John a pleasure to work with. A 2024 review says that while he was in the neighborhood, he stopped over within an hour, quoted two stumps, one small and one very large, and said he could do it right then; that 2024 reviewer says he cleaned up like he was never there. In another 2024 review, a repeat customer says Jared and his crew removed several trees, chipped the brush and ground some stumps.
