In a 2013 Houzz review, a homeowner who bought a complete kitchen including design said Dave and Gary were great and went back for cabinets for 2 bathrooms and a laundry room. I am extremely happy with the products and the work performed by J.C.W. Dave, who helped design my kitchen proved to be extremely helpful, and offered good suggestions as far as cabinets and countertops. I hung the cabinets myself, but had J.C.W. fabricate and install the counter tops. I am quite pleased with my experience with Dave and J.C.W., and would highly recommend them to anyone doing a kitchen makeover.
In 2012, I upgraded my kitchen by replacing cabinets, counters, flooring, and some appliances. I purchased my kitchen cabinets and kitchen counter from Dave DeVeau at Jack's Custom Woodworking. My experience was A-1 from start to finish. Dave always patiently answered my questions, returned phone calls and emails promptly, and delivered on schedule. I knew pretty much what I wanted, but Dave helped by advising me on what was possible and suggesting improvements where he thought appropriate. The show room had a large variety of cabinets to choose from and to see installed. The cabinets I chose came from nearby New York, and the counters I selected came from a local supplier of granite who was recommended by Dave and whom I found pleasing to work with. All in all I was very satisfied with the service. I especially love two sets of cabinets that are, at Dave's suggestion, about 14 inches wider than those I previously had. I also love that all the cabinets go all the way to the ceiling. I'm very happy with my modernized kitchen--it looks better and is more fun to work in.
