Jack's Junk Company

A Holbrook customer needed a washer and dryer gone in September 2022, and the review they left afterwards describes a quick turnaround, careful work and a crew that was a pleasure to deal with. A second reviewer, writing a day earlier, kept it to one line: Jack "made it disappear with cheer." Jack's Junk Company hauls junk out of Holbrook, and it is a phone-first operation — its website is a single page with a prices link, a contact link and a line about recycling. On Google it sits at 4.3 from 12 ratings. The complaint on that page is about the first step rather than the work. A November 2023 reviewer gave one star and said nobody ever called back. If your pickup is tied to a closing or a move-out date, that is the thing to nail down: get a confirmed day and window, and a price for the load, before you plan around it. For a single-item haul — an old appliance, a pile that needs to be gone by Friday — this is the small local option, and the 2022 reviews describe exactly that job going smoothly. Call, confirm the slot, and ask what the load will cost.
