Jacob Sparkling

Gutters are the job that keeps coming up — six written reviews between 2018 and 2024 describe them, cleaned out or put back in order. Jacob Sparkling works out of Billerica and does windows and pressure washing alongside that gutter work; its Angi and HomeAdvisor profiles describe a Spanish-speaking business that gives free estimates and takes emergency calls. Those accounts are dated, and here is what they describe. In October 2024, a Thumbtack customer wrote that he cleaned their gutters, was friendly about it, and made sure everything was spotless. A June 2024 Google reviewer had all the windows cleaned and the porches pressure washed that spring, and called the work fast and courteous. A September 2023 review covers windows and gutters done the year before and credits him with cleaning up after. In November 2022, an Angi customer was thrilled with Jacob and his partner, who showed up when expected. The older accounts carry the most detail. A November 2020 Thumbtack customer said he arrived early, cleaned the gutters and fixed two downspouts, and called it good value. One of two November 2018 reviews says he showed early, finished the job, sent pictures and reattached a piece of gutter that was falling; the other says he and his team were easy to work with, and that the customer would book spring gutter maintenance. Price shows up in the same tone in reviews from 2018, 2020 and 2023 — fair pricing, good value, a good price — and four reviewers writing between 2018 and 2022 said they planned to have him back. One thing worth asking: how long he has been doing this. Thumbtack's profile says 22 years and counts 93 hires; the Angi and HomeAdvisor profiles both describe a 14-year-old business. The ratings line up across the platforms — 4.9 on Angi from 127 ratings, the identical figure on HomeAdvisor, 4.9 from 75 ratings on Thumbtack, and 4.9 from seven on Google. For a seasonal gutter clean-out, a house of windows, or a porch that wants washing before summer, this is a straightforward call, and estimates are free per the Angi and HomeAdvisor profiles. Settle what the visit covers before he comes out: Thumbtack also lists gutter repair and replacement, so ask whether a loose section or a failing downspout is part of the cleaning price or billed on its own.
