Jalbert Plumbing & Heating is based at 36 Greenwood Road in Peabody. The business is identified with Richard Jalbert, who was quoted in coverage of a steel firefighting tool his team built with a local fire captain. The available written customer history is limited and dated. A July 2015 Google review described a quote inquiry and criticized the communication and tone during that exchange; it did not describe completed plumbing work. Before booking, ask who will handle the work, what is included in the quote, and how communication will be managed. The contractor is best considered for a plumbing inquiry that begins with a clear scope, written pricing, and confirmed expectations.
“It was designed by O'Hearn and created by Richard Jalbert and his team at Jalbert Plumbing and Heating.”
““It minimizes the firefighter having to move it around,” Richard Jalbert, owner of Jalbert Plumbing and Heating, said.”

Terrible customer service. I called to receive a quote. Mr. Jalbert returned my call an hour after I left a message with the receptionist, which was reasonable. Mr. Jalbert repeatedly called me "honey" and spoke in a condescending manner after I informed him that I was calling on behalf of my boyfriend. He gruffly asked me who would be paying him because apparently a previous customer had failed to pay him for his services. I understand being concerned about working with third parties, but I was simply attempting to provide information before he would have been working directly with a male/owner. The guy is as sophisticated as a flea. I know not all plumbers are like this. My suggestion: AVOID.
