Jason Difulvio is an electrician working out of Lynn, on Boston's North Shore. Almost everything known about him comes from permit paperwork rather than from customers: BuildZoom counts 37 permitted projects filed under his name, all of it electrical work. That permit trail is the whole of his public history right now. No one has written about hiring him on the platforms we searched, so there is nothing to say about how he schedules, prices, or finishes a job — the only thing established is that he pulls electrical permits and has done so repeatedly. The licensing picture is the part worth pinning down before you call. BuildZoom lists Journeyman Electrician licence #50138 for him, but flags it as not verified and notes that the last expiration date it saw was July 2016; the same page carries an alert reading "No active license on file" and elsewhere describes both #50138 and #000050138 (Journeyman Electrician, Electrical Contractor) as inactive when it last checked. Those statements contradict each other, and none of them is a registry verification. Electrical work in Massachusetts must be done by a licensed electrician, so this is not a detail to take on trust from a directory. Ask him for his current licence number and check it directly with the state Board of State Examiners of Electricians before any work is scheduled, and ask for proof of liability and workers' compensation coverage at the same time.
