JB Carpentry

This review is strictly based on customer service, not workmanship. I contacted them for a small carpentry project and was told someone would be out Saturday morning to do an estimate. No one ever came to do the estimate or called. I reached out again and was completely ignored. If a project is too small or too far or you’re too busy, please don’t waste peoples time and be upfront about not wanting or needing the job. Not great business practice or transparency there. Time is the only thing we can’t get back.

This person repeatedly pushed back my job, ignored repeated texts and never showed for the job. Wasted my time with photos, estimates, etc. Highly unprofessional.

Home Exterior Maintenance/Repair We were fortunate to obtain the services of JB Carpentry, Jon Bohannan, on short notice to rebuild and paint our bay window siding and trim, repair a section of wood siding on the dormer wall and refinish the entrance and garage door area (paint trim and doors). Jon’s communication style was exemplary and timely. He performed the work professionally in the time frame he assigned, despite the obstacles we discovered. He also lived up to what he promised, for us to have a better and lasting solution than we had before. We highly recommend JB Carpentry’s services without reservation to our neighbors, friends, family, and associates based on the wonderful appearance of the finished product and the quality of the craftsmanship.

Jon and his crew did a great job adding custom trim, window casing, baseboards, and crown molding throughout my kitchen, living, dining, and master bedroom. They showed up on time, did their work and cleaned up every day. Very happy with his attention to detail. He would do mock-ups seeking my opinion/approval before proceeding. I would definitely hire Jon again!

JB Carpentry came and replaced our window sills and they were very nice and did a great job!
