The customer says Julian and his team started less than a week after the go-ahead, completed the wall quickly and left the recently planted flowers untouched. They chose the crew after comparing quotes, citing the granite blocks, the available start date and a fair price. The Essex masonry business says it builds and repairs natural stone walls, stairs, patios, tiles and benches for homeowners and property owners, and offers free estimates. Google shows a 5-star average from 24 ratings. Its customers describe both rebuilding walls and repairing damaged masonry. In a June 2024 review, a homeowner said Julian and Peter rebuilt a stone wall behind the house, above a stream and near a shade tree. A February 2024 reviewer praised a dry stone wall the crew had built. Other March 2024 accounts describe a wall damaged by a car, a deteriorating rock wall and a patio wall repair that improved the appearance of the house. Patios and brick walkways also feature in the dated accounts. A March 2024 customer described Julian’s work on a backyard stone patio. In April 2025, another customer said Julian and the team removed a large root-caused bump from a brick sidewalk in Boston, praising their speed and the finished work.
