JD and Son's Tick and Mosquito Control

JD and Son's Tick and Mosquito Control sprays yards for ticks and mosquitoes. On its website the company says it offers traditional or organic applications in Southern New Hampshire, names Manchester, Hooksett, Exeter, Stratham and Bedford as its service area, and says it has been in business for 10 years. A recent Google customer said their dog used to come inside with a tick pretty often, that they did not see one tick all summer after treatment started, and that the company always texted to confirm the day before. A recent customer in their first season said they were not bitten at all by mosquitoes and that the company texts before each application. A 2024 customer with a new-construction home in a woodsy area wrote that they had pulled 5-10 ticks a day off their dog in a week, and said they had not seen a tick in the year of service since. A 2022 customer wrote that the company worked with them to treat only high tick breeding areas while avoiding the areas where birds and cats hang out. A 2022 customer said cedar sprays were scheduled four times from spring to fall for a dog who can't have flea and tick chemicals, and that the spray was moved sooner when ticks rose with the weather. A 2022 customer said their dogs came in with so many ticks in 2021 that their muzzles looked like they were moving, and that after one visit from Jeremy, whom they described as the owner, they had not seen a tick since.
