JD TREE & LANDSCAPE SERVICES

JD Tree & Landscape Services, run out of Middleton by Julio, is the crew people call for the big, urgent jobs — a storm-felled oak, a 100-foot pine crowding the house, 25 trees on one property needing to come down. Across 40 Google reviews running from 2023 through this month, nearly every one five stars, the same two things keep coming up: care around the property and a genuinely clean site when they leave. Reviewers repeatedly describe trees removed within feet of houses, driveways, power lines and neighboring yards without damage — one review describes a large spruce close to power lines handled without incident, another a 100-foot pine taken down next to the house with a crane. Cleanup gets called out almost every time: branches chipped and hauled away, lawns raked and blown clear, and in a couple of cases the crew coming back the next day for extra tidying. One customer, describing a 25-tree removal in a 2024 review, said the crew mulched branches, spread loam, and seeded and fertilized the lawn when they were done. Julio himself gets singled out for responsiveness — one reviewer called about a tree that had fallen on their shed and had him at the house within 30 minutes, back again early the next morning to finish. Pricing comes up often as fair or competitive, including cases where extra trimming or cleanup was done at no additional charge. Several reviewers describe using the company more than once and planning to again. The one real flag in the record is a 2026 review noting a couple of flower trees weren't pruned enough, with the reviewer suggesting future customers spell out exactly what they want done. Otherwise there's nothing negative in the record — no licensing or government issues surface anywhere in the evidence. Anyone hiring JD should be specific about which trees or areas need attention, since that's the one place a review flagged a gap.
