Twenty-five trees between forty and ninety feet, felled and mulched, with loam spread and seed down before the crew left — that was one job JD Tree & Landscape took on, described by the homeowner in an October 2024 review. Scale like that keeps coming up. Julio runs the outfit out of 2346 N Main St in Middleton, and his name turns up in reviews going back to 2023 — sometimes alongside his crew, once a climber named Ceasar working with a crane operator on a 100-foot pine, in a May 2024 account. The work splits two ways: removals, trimming, pruning and stump grinding on one side; clearing overgrowth, mulching, hedge work and seeding on the other. Forty reviews from 2023 to 2026, and the pattern barely moves — on time, and the yard is clean when they leave. Fifteen landed in the last six months and none were negative. In June a homeowner had eighteen-plus stumps ground out, a tree taken down and the cleared front yard mulched. In April another had two large spruces removed from beside power lines. The North Andover Country Club wrote in May after six large trees came out. Storm work shows up too. In an April 2025 review a customer called in the morning, Julio was at the house half an hour later, and the tree that had come down on their shed was gone the next day. Price talk is unusually consistent for tree work: reviewers describe fair estimates and competitive quotes, and a repeat customer in June said there was no need to shop around. The thing to nail down is scope. A June review rated them four stars and said a couple of flower trees had not been cut back as far as the customer wanted; their own advice was to clarify exactly what you want done. How hard to prune is a judgment call, so walk the property and mark what you mean before the saws start. They are the right call for removals and heavy trimming, particularly anything tight against a house, a wall or overhead wires, and for the cleanup afterwards — the part customers mention most. Their written history all sits on one platform, so if you want a second read, ask for a nearby reference, and get the scope and price down in writing first.
JD tree and landscaping recently did some work for me trimming my Japanese Pew bushes that were way overgrown as well as some maple tree trimming and Rose of Sharon but wesh trimming.
