Je Olson Carpentry LLC describes its work on Houzz as custom carpentry and remodeling. Its Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration, 186368, is active on the state registry, and John Olson's construction supervisor licence, CS-109725, is also active on the state registry. In a 2021 review, John managed a project to replace trim, siding, decking and paint on a whole house; that customer called his communication excellent, the pricing fair, and the work done with good quality and timing. A 2018 review covers several projects at an 1890s farmhouse: John refaced cabinets and added built-ins in the kitchen, removed a wall between a home office and family room and designed columns to accommodate the load-bearing structure, designed two custom closets, and remodeled a guest bath, including the vanity, wainscot and trim. That customer called him excellent at solving the problems and surprises that come with an antique home. In another 2018 review, J.E. Olson renovated a completely unfinished basement, with John doing the framing, flooring, doors and trim work. A 2017 review of an addition says John returned calls in a timely manner. A separate 2017 review says John built bookshelves and a mantel for a home in Cotuit, and that the work was done timely and professionally.
John managed a project for us this fall to replace trim, siding, decking, and paint on the whole house. His communication was excellent, pricing was fair, and the work was done with good quality and timing. I look forward to working with John on our next project.
We hired John for several projects at our 1890's farmhouse. He did a cabinet reface along with some built-ins in our kitchen. He removed a wall between our home office and family room and designed columns to accommodate load bearing structures and designed two custom closets. Recently he remodeled our guest bath, including vanity, wainscot and trim and replaced the window trim. He is excellent at solving the problems and surprises that come with an antique home. We have also used him for commercial work in several restaurants. Highly recommend him. He is reliable and gets the job done in a timely fashion.
J.E. Olson renovated my completely unfinished basement. From framing to flooring, doors, and trim work John did it all. John was very articulate and the finished product shows that. I will definitely be hiring them back in the near future.

John built us beautiful bookshelves and a magnificent mantel for our Home in Cotuit. The work was done timely and professionally. Having been in the construction industry myself, it was a pleasure to see the dedication to detail and product perfection that John shows in his work. I would not hesitate to hire John again!
