What to ask about. BuildZoom shows a construction supervisor licence, CS-103363, and a home improvement contractor registration, 165738, both as active, but those are BuildZoom's own checks rather than state confirmations, and the registration's issue date of 16 April 2026 is very recent — worth asking how long he has been continuously registered. The BuildZoom score of 104 is calculated from permits and licence status, not from customers, so it says nothing about how the jobs went. Who this suits: someone with a deck, porch, siding or kitchen job who values a long, verifiable trail of permitted work and is willing to do the reference-checking themselves, because there is no public customer record to read.
