In a February 2025 review, written almost entirely in capitals, the homeowner said Scott's Handy Services was the best snow removal service they had used. Scott's works out of Swansea, Massachusetts, and its site lists towns on both sides of the line into Rhode Island — Barrington, Newport, Providence, Warwick and a dozen more. The site says the business is owner-operated by Scott, with 30-plus years of construction work since he finished at Blackstone Valley Regional Vocational Technical High School in 1989. Its Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration, #212588, is active. The written accounts run 2024 to 2026 and they are mostly the jobs nobody else wants to schedule. Scott and Matt replaced a damaged fan vent and pipe in an April 2026 review, quickly and at a rate the customer liked. In February 2026, another homeowner said the crew arrived when they asked and on time, and that Matt walked them through each step of installing the new garage door opener before they paid online. A December 2025 customer had a large TV mounted and, having had it done elsewhere before, called this the best of them. In March 2025, a couple worried that their house was slanted had Scott come out to look at the structure and lay out the pros and cons. One account runs the other way, and it is worth knowing about: in April 2025 a Thumbtack customer wrote that the call was never returned, called that unprofessional and told others to consider another pro.
