Jett Foundation

I first found out what Jett Foundation was many years ago from another friend I had met in the Duchenne Community. Soon after, I started to attend Jett's camp called Camp Promise. I have been going for many years, despite a brief hiatus I have since returned to camp promise for the past few years. I cannot say enough about this program. I have had some amazing counselors which have transformed into lasting friendships. The love and support during this camp week is nothing short of amazing. I encourage individuals with Neuromuscular conditions to attend camp promise. I assure you that you won't leave feeling anything other than joy. Jett doesn't only run an amazing camp, they run an unbelievable organization that provides support and understanding to families and individuals with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. The have a vast array of programming including virtual camp get togethers, porch night, fundraising, rare disease day events, webinars, and more. The staff is wonderful and have a wealth of knowledge.

Jett Foundation is a great source of information and resources for families living with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. I highly recommend connecting with this great organization!

FIVE STARS! To say the Jett Foundation is amazing would be an understatement. They are constantly uplifting the Duchenne community and providing so many resources and endless knowledge. Not only that, but they are constantly hosting events. The Jett Foundation is an amazing community and with them, you know you always have a support system in your corner. I’ve met many amazing people through the foundation, and I don’t know where my family and I would be if we had never come across the Jett Foundation. Truly a blessing when it comes to battling and advocating for a rare disease like Duchenne.

I cannot speak highly enough of this amazing organization and all that they do within the Duchenne Community. I personally have received so much support and knowledge through online groups they offer. You can feel the love and compassion with everyone within the Jett Foundation. They have wonderful resources to help guide you and anyone in your family to where they need to be. The connections and the willingness to listen speaks volumes about how wonderful they are.

Jett does so much for the Duchenne community as a whole muscular dystrophy community. They have camps help you with necessities for living, anyone with Duchenne or muscular dystrophy needs to know about this foundation. I went to summer camp for my 1st time as a 40-year-old it had more fun that I can remember having for some time before that. But I was having trouble making ends meet it even buy groceries Jett's emergency fund literally saved my life by helping me for 2 months.
