Joe's Electrical is the North Andover shop people call when the job is small enough that most electricians won't call back — and then keep calling for the bigger ones. Across 23 Google ratings averaging 4.7, the same two things surface: he answers, and he shows up when he says he will. The work runs the residential range. Homeowners describe closet lights and bathroom exhaust fans on the small end, EV chargers and whole-house generators on the larger, and troubleshooting calls in between. One customer was told by another electrician that an EV charger would require a full panel upgrade; Joe installed a wall charger in the garage without one. That kind of second opinion is worth something on a job where the difference is thousands of dollars. The most recent account, from this summer, reads like the rest of the file: clear communication, punctual arrival, a crew described as professional and clean, and the plainest compliment in the trade — he does exactly what he says he will. Ten written reviews across three sources going back to 2015 is a modest but genuinely long record, and the tone has not wavered across it. One thing to sort out before you hire. The company's Angi profile advertises 27 years of experience while its own About text on that same page says nearly 10 — a contradiction the profile never resolves, and a fair thing to ask about directly. That Angi page also rests on a single review from 2015, so the current picture really comes from Google. Good call for the everyday residential list: fixture and fan installs, EV charger and generator work, service calls where you want an answer the same day. Ask for the Massachusetts electrician licence number and a current certificate of insurance and verify both yourself, confirm whether Joe or a crew member is doing the work, and get the price in writing before anything gets opened up.

Joe was communicative, efficient, and charged a fair price for installing a light in our closet. He was even able to work us into his schedule the same day we called. My husband and I are happy all around!

While camping with my family, the power in our camper suddenly went out. We called Joe, and he arrived within 30 minutes. He quickly identified the problem and fixed it for us. We thought we'd be stuck at the campsite for days, but Joe saved the day! His service was outstanding, and we couldn't be more grateful. We highly recommend Joe for his exceptional work! He's the best in town!!

Joe and his team went above and beyond doing a few projects at my home, including the installation of a generator. Great communicators, extremely clean work, and an all around friendly and helpful team. Joe went out of his way to explain the work done and even helped me troubleshoot an unrelated issue to ensure I was on the right track. Without hesitation, I'd recommend Joe to anyone looking for an excellent electrician.

Joe quoted a very fair price for my bathroom exhaust fan replacement. Was very responsive and worked around my schedule. Installed within one day of contacting him. Great work!
