Joseph Falco, Jr. Masonry

Joseph Falco Jr. Masonry is an owner-branded masonry contractor based in Abington, offering brick, block, stone, concrete, chimney, and paver work across the Greater South Shore, with Joe Falco personally performing the work himself. The review record is deep and remarkably consistent — 82 reviews from 2021 to 2026, with six in the past six months and none negative. The same specific jobs come up again and again: front steps rebuilt in granite or brick, cracked walkways replaced with pavers, chimney mortar and brick repairs, and foundation cracks patched. A 2024 review describes a 10-to-12-foot crack in a garage floor repaired within days of the first call, and several reviewers describe becoming repeat customers — one 2024 review describes calling Joe back for a patio renovation after he had repaired their foundation cracks the year before. Reviewers describe Joe as showing up when he says he will, finishing jobs quickly — several describe a full walkway or set of steps completed in a single day or two — and pricing fairly, with multiple reviewers saying they got quotes from several masons and his was the most reasonable. A recurring, distinctive theme is his honesty about scope: several 2025 and 2026 reviews describe him steering a customer toward a different, cheaper approach or recommending another contractor entirely when a job wasn't the best fit for him. The company's self-reported tenure is inconsistent — its website states 'over 45 years' on the homepage and 'over 25 years' on the about page — and its Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration is currently listed as expired in the state registry, worth confirming directly. For steps, walkways, chimney, or foundation crack repair on the South Shore, the volume and specificity of years of consistent praise make a strong case.
