Joseph Rubbish Removal describes itself as a family-run trash, recycling and general disposal service operating only in Truro since 1965. By the company's own account, it was started by Raymond S Joseph, a WWII veteran and Truro Fire Chief; his wife Marion O Joseph carried it on from 1993 to 2015, then handed it to her son Douglas Cox and his partner Pamela Donahue, who the site says run it now. A 2024 customer said they showed up on time even when the pickup schedule varied from week to week. A 2025 Google reviewer wrote that the business was "Out of business 2 years ago."

They are terrific. Show up on time even when the pick up schedule varies from week to week. And they are wonderful to deal with. Highly recommend them!
