The permit trail backs that up in bulk. BuildZoom records 2,611 permitted projects — 333 filed in 2023, 297 in 2024 and 69 in 2025 — at a typical value around $5,410, spread across Melrose, Springfield, Braintree, Cohasset, Randolph, Dighton, Great Barrington, Falmouth and South Boston. Heat pumps and weatherization dominate; sixteen home additions and three new constructions sit at the edges. This is a high-volume installer working across the state, not a local shop doing a few houses a year. On credentials, the BBB has accredited the business since January 2019 and grades it A+, and its profile describes it as a partner in the Mass Save and NH Saves programs, with financing through both. BuildZoom lists a Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration, #209418, issued in August 2025, and a sheet metal license, #8606, as active, alongside a Massachusetts electrician license it shows as inactive and at one point cancelled. None of those has been checked against the state registry here. Where it thins out badly is the customer voice. BuildZoom carries no reviews at all, and the BBB page shows only three review snippets — two positive about technicians, one critical about a heat pump inspection appointment. That is a very small window onto a company running hundreds of jobs a year, and it is the gap you will have to close yourself. If you are going through Mass Save for a heat pump or an insulation package, this is one of the larger installers doing that work in eastern Massachusetts, with the permit volume and the crew size to match. Ask which crew is assigned to your house, get the equipment model and the scope in writing, and pin down what happens if the inspection or the incentive paperwork slips.
