Julio Victory Concrete and Masonry is a masonry business based in Hudson. In its own HomeAdvisor description, it dates itself to 1996 and says it offers concrete and masonry, as well as landscaping work, for residential and commercial customers. In 2007, Julio responded quickly to an estimate request, gave a couple of alternatives, and replaced a concrete ramp into a garage with a wider, cobblestone ramp within a few days; his crew was called very nice and professional and easy to work with. On another 2007 job, his helpers were described as very skillful masons who performed very hard work on a very hot day, with excellent work quality and cleanup. Also in 2007, Julio and his crew were credited with an amazing job. One 2007 job went differently. The work was called not up to par, the site was left in disarray, and old timbers were thrown in the woods after a request not to, twice. Julio did not show on the Wednesday he promised or on the following Saturday, and two other contractors who looked at the work said he was taking the easy way out; the fix was expected to cost more than the original quote.
Julio responded quickly to my request for an estimate, gave me a couple of alternatives and was able to complete the job (replacing a concrete ramp into my garage with a wider, cobblestone ramp) within a few days. His crew did a very nice and professional job, and they were easy to work with. I would definitely consider using Julio again for a future project.
Julio Victory was outstanding to deal with . His can do attitude was very reassuring. His helpers were equally pleasant and very skillful masons. They performed very hard work on a very hot day with very positive attitude. I highly recommend them. Excellent work quality and cleanup.
I hired Julio because he seemed very knowledable at his job. But as he started his work on Monday August 20th his work was not good, and he left the site in dissaray. He threw the old timbers in the woods after I asked him not to twice. And he seemed to have no recolection of the planter I had talked to him about in the front of the house. He came back on Tuesday and I was nervous that his work was not up to par and had my father check up on Julio. When my father showed up at 10 am Julio was no where to be found and only 1 worker was there that did not speak English. My father left his phone number so that Julio could call him to talk about his shoty work. Julio returned the call hours later with attitude towards my father. He by no means wanted to hear anything about his work. I talked to Julio Tuesday night and explained to him his work was not up to par. He told me he would be here on Wendnesday, and he did not show so I called him again and he told me he would be her on Saturday the 25th. Now it is Saturday with another no call no show. I left him a message and have not heard back from him. My house is now ripped apart and wood thrown everywhere. In the meantime I have had 2 other contractors look at his work each one said he was taking the easy way out and had no idea of what he was doing or did not care, Now this job will cost me more to fix than the original quote and I am already out $550. I would suggest that you do not refer his services.
Julio and his crew did an amazing job for me. Julio loves what he does and it shows. An excellent experience.
I am more than satisfied with the outcome of the project . Would hire them again and recommend them to friends .
