Justin W. Cameron Renovations

Justin W. Cameron Renovations is a Carver, Massachusetts carpentry outfit that homeowners have hired for jobs from hanging doors to installing kitchen cabinets, with Justin himself doing the work rather than handing it to a crew. The two written accounts on file split sharply. In a 2018 Houzz review, a customer whose kitchen cabinets Justin installed called him professional, neat, punctual and a perfectionist, showing up on time every day and checking in with them at the end of each one. A more recent Houzz review, from 2026, tells a different story: hired to hang new doors, the customer says the work came out sloppy and rushed and was never finished, forcing them to bring in someone else and buy replacement doors. The Better Business Bureau lists the business at a B- because it failed to respond to a complaint filed against it, and the company is not BBB-accredited. Houzz shows an overall 3.0 out of 5 across those two reviews. Anyone considering hiring them should ask pointed questions about current availability and how a job gets finished if it stalls, and should follow up directly on the unanswered BBB complaint before signing a contract.
