Its own site describes handling residential and commercial construction from concept through occupancy, and it turns up in local Reddit recommendations for general-contracting work on the North Shore. The written record is thin but dated, not absent: BuildZoom's permit history shows 16 permitted projects, mostly residential remodels in Merrimac, Newburyport and nearby towns, and a single detailed review from 2017 described the company finishing a project on time and on budget, with progress photos along the way, calling the experience good enough to spoil the reviewer for every other contractor since. Massachusetts' registry shows the company's home improvement contractor registration, #153683, as expired. BuildZoom's own listing separately shows a different HIC number, #182073, as active, along with an active construction supervisor license — those are the directory's claims, not something verified against the state. Worth confirming current licensing directly before signing anything, but the permit history and the one detailed account point to real, completed residential work.
